This is an exciting job opportunity for a friendly and empathetic professional to join BucksVision as our second Eye Clinic Liaison Officer.
In this role, you will provide an Information and Advice Service at Amersham and Wycombe Hospitals (providing additional support when needed to the existing ECLO service at Stoke Mandeville).
You will be working in the eye clinic offering a person centred support service to blind and partially sighted people, family members and carers at the point of diagnosis.
Each day you will be providing emotional support and raising awareness of services that empower visually impaired people to make informed choices to maintain and develop their independence.
Key to this role will be your excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation skills - to effectively communicate with patients, carers, hospital and social care staff.
