South East Area

(Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Stoke Poges, Burnham, Iver, the Farnhams)

BucksVision’s South East Division covers a large area from Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield down to Burnham, the Farhams and across to Denham and Iver. The division has a dedicated team of volunteers who run three different clubs in the area.

Stoke Poges Club

Runs on the second Tuesday afternoon of each month at a venue in Stoke Poges. The volunteers put on a number of activities including entertainment, refreshments and quizzes and can arrange transport to and from the venue on club days. Sometimes the club also arranges outings.

Craft Club

Runs on a monthly basis in Burnham. The group has spent the last four years building its membership which ranges in age from 21 to 93. Members can work individually or with support from a volunteer and have a variety of projects and materials to choose from at each session. Refreshments are available and transport can be arranged.

Working Age Activity Group (WAAG)

This group is open to working age visually impaired people living in the area. Activities are arranged according to what the group members would like to do and include walks, workshops, concerts, day trips, and general social activities. Generally there are 1 to 2 events per month and a flexible booking system.
