Creative Writing Competition 2017

Entries are now open for our 2017 competition!

The competition is open to anyone aged 5+ living in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes who has serious sight loss.

So if you are a budding author or simply enjoy creating stories or poetry why not enter our competition in one of the categories below:

Adults (18+)

Short Story: 500 - 1,000 word story, any topic or subject

Poems: No more than 40 verse lines, any topic or subject

Young Person (12-17 years)

Short Story: 500 words maximum, any topic or subject

Children (5-11 years)

Short Story: 500 words maximum, any topic or subject

Deadline: 30th September 2017

Children - James Goldsworthy

Short Story - Matt Holland

Matt Holland, erstwhile book reviewer, gaucho, and literature tutor, believes that writing a few words that work well is harder than writing many that may not.
