Bob is retired having spent most of his career with an international IT services company. He undertook a variety of management roles, his most recent being in Business Financial Management. Bob joined the Board in 2012 and became Chair in 2013.
Jan joined in 2019 shortly before he retired from his position of Social Services Manager, based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Jan has in depth knowledge and experience of the sight loss sector both personally and professionally.
John is a retired Chartered Accountant and has been involved with the sight loss sector for over twenty years. He was previously Director of Finance & Resources for a national sight loss charity.
Ian joined BucksVision as a volunteer in 2017 before becoming a Trustee in 2022. He has held senior positions within both the public and voluntary sectors within Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes including the Fire Service and St Johns Ambulance.
Jon is recently retired, prior to which he founded and led an IT software company, primarily helping global financial institutions manage their risk. He is also a volunteer within BucksVision MK Division, where he assists with driving and a range of event support.
Dean joined BucksVision as a Trustee in October 2023. His professional career has centred on Human Resources, with most of the past 35 years being spent in the Energy sector.
Val is retired and joined us as a trustee in October 2023. During her career she held senior positions in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, primarily working in Procurement & Finance. Val also volunteers at a local high school teaching A level conversational French.
David is a recently retired solicitor with broad legal experience from both within private practice and in-house. David was previously Deputy Group General Counsel with a multi-national French listed I.T. group, Atos.
Cristina is a global commercial leader with more than 20 years of experience working in multinational organisations providing services to both private and public sectors.
